Yahoo! Team:
PG: Chris Paul, Tony Parker, Louis Williams
SG: Eric Gordon*, Jared Dudley, Gordon Hayward
SF: Wesley Mathews, Corey Maggette
PF: Zach Randolph, David West
C: Marc Gasol, Greg Monroe, Samuel Dalembert
This team had a very slow start… seemed like my entire squad was rusty from the off-season. Didn’t break out of their rust til tonight’s games. I need Eric Gordon to come back and I should be fine for the entire season, barring any significant injury. I also need Chris Paul to get it together. I’m sure he’ll be getting way more stats after a few more games with his new team, but as of now, he’s been a disappointing first round pick. Louis Williams was a great waiver pick-up. Wesley Mathews also needs to find his shooting touch. He’s useless without it. I also need Greg Monroe to blow up into the 20 and 10 monster he should be.
This team looks really good to me though, I am stacked at each position now. Losing my current matchup in Week 1 due to the slow start, but my team has appeared to have found it now after Day 5. I am going to lose my matchup this week, but upcoming weeks should see more wins.
ESPN Team:
PG: Steve Nash, Jarrett Jack
SG: Rip Hamilton, MarShon Brooks
SF: LeBron James, Gordon Hayward
PF: Chris Bosh, Paul Millsap
C: Greg Monroe, Brook Lopez*, Marcus Camby, Spencer Hawes, Chris Kaman
This team was drafted before the other one, and I didn’t really like this team as much as my other one, but it is doing work right now. Losing Brook Lopez was a huge blow to the squad, but having LeBron James on the roster makes up a lot. LeBron’s numbers are incredible to start the season. Huge influx of Centers to make up for Brook’s production. As with my other team, this one also had somewhat of a slow start, but this one made a huge turn around sooner than my other team. Currently leading 8-1 in my matchup in this league, only down by 3 turnovers, while winning every other category by huge margins.
