The GMs of each of the teams have been discussing this trade for 3 weeks now, with the NBA constantly checking in to approve of the moves. At the last second, when the official trade request gets sent it, David Stern rejects that shit. Really? 3 Weeks of hard negotiation? All just gone.
I’d be mad as fuck if I was any of the GMs. Demps had to be talked out of quitting his job. Morey also considered quitting.

Morey had a plan. Morey wanted Pau Gasol. He knew he could get Nene if he got Gasol.
Ever since he was hired, he has done an incredible job as the GM for the Rockets. Ever since Yao went down, his new objective was to acquire a superstar player for the team. We had one there with Pau.
That’s just fucked up Stern.
Now I’m sure there will be turmoil within the players who were supposed to be traded. Fucking up the chemistry and shit. Great.
